What Is Venus Viva™?
When it comes to skin resurfacing treatments, Co2 lasers used to lead the way. They are painful and took a lot of recovery time…did we mention they were painful! Venus Viva provides a median between Co2 and microneedling that provides outstanding results.
Using superficial needs that penetrate the skin and radiofrequency Venus Viva uses heat to break down pigment and stimulate collagen to rebuild and repair skin.

How does Venus Viva work?
Venus Viva™ treatments work with tiny pins to safely deliver heat deep into the tissue of your skin without causing any harm to the surrounding tissue through NanoFractional™ Radio-frequency. This creates tiny micro-dermal wounds, which activate your skin’s collagen. Which allows your body to naturally heal and regenerate new skin cells.
Since the wounds are so small, the treatment is much better tolerated than traditional CO2 lasers, making Venus Viva™ treatments relatively painless in comparison. This process repairs signs of skin damage along with the appearance of acne scars and other scars, rosacea, enlarged pores, deep wrinkles, and uneven skin texture and pigmentation.
These procedures are performed by one of our highly experienced Aesthetic Experts. For your added comfort, a topical numbing agent will be applied before the treatment.

What do I need to know before my appointment?
Here at Spotless Medical Aesthetic, we like to keep our treatments simple. Our Venus Viva treatments last about 30 minutes and will take about 3-4 treatments per area for skin resurfacing results and 6-8 treatments per area for anti-aging results. The only thing you need to do before your treatment is to make sure your skin is clean.
Your skin should be free of all:
Lotions
Creams
Perfumes
Powders
Makeups
You should also try to avoid prolonged sun exposure to the areas we are treating. Meaning, you might need to take a break from sunbathing for a few days (But you won't have to avoid the sun for long, we promise!)
What should I do after my treatment?
After your Venus Viva treatment, your face may feel a little warm and be a little red. You may feel like you have sunburn!
But don’t worry…
The redness won’t last long and you won’t need to take a break from your daily routine.
To protect your skin as it heals, we recommend you must wear sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 and cleanse with a gentle cleanser (we recommend ZO Gentle Cleanser) when you are washing the treated area.
DO NOT PICK! - If you want to avoid scarring, do not pick. We know it may be tempting, but if you have flaking or peeling do not pick or exfoliate! And it’s important that you avoid the use of products containing retinol or acid for at least 5 days.
Ladies, you’ll be happy to know that you can apply make-up 24 hours after your Venus Viva™ treatment.
